Yes. Open stairwell edges, loft openings, and low pony walls are some of the most common safety railing jobs we do. We measure the opening, design a guardrail that suits the room, fabricate it in our Ventura shop, and install it so it anchors securely into the existing structure.
Do you build railings to meet California building code?
Yes. We build guardrails and handrails to current California Residential Code requirements for height, infill spacing, and load resistance, and we can coordinate with your building department when a permit or inspection is required. We confirm the applicable requirements for your specific opening before fabrication.
How much does a custom iron stair railing cost?
Cost depends on the length of the run, the design complexity, the material, and the finish. A short straight guardrail is considerably less than a curved staircase railing with ornamental scrollwork. Most residential railing projects run a few weeks from approved design to installation, depending on our current schedule and the finish selected.
